A NOTE TO GROWN-UPS -
Research shows that children learn through multi-sensory experiences. By incorporating music and movement into the curriculum improvements are detected in cognitive development, learning skills, memory abilities, and expressive ability (Pogue, 2018). Aside from the fun and engagement that come from taking brain breaks, educational movement videos stimulate gross motor and coordination skills. These movement breaks are an excellent way to burn energy, get the body moving, and refocus the brain. When used in groups, they also promote social skills and engage the brain in whole body learning.
